Oklahoma watchdog leader says man facing murder charge is in nursing facility

The head of a nursing home watchdog organization claims the state has placed a man charged with four counts of first-degree murder in a nursing facility.

Wes Bledsoe (pictured), founder of Tulsa-based A Perfect Cause, said Earl Bradford Postelle, 43, was ordered to reside at the OakHillsLivingCenter in Jones. The order came from Oklahoma County District Court Judge Ray C. Elliot, issued April 19.

Postelle is charged as a co-defendant with several others for the 2005 Memorial Day execution-style slayings of three men and one woman with an AK-47 and other assault-style weapons. Killed were Amy J. Wright, James “Donnie” Swindle Jr., Terry L. Smith and James D. Alderson.

All were found dead outside a complex of trailer homes in a fenced area south of D&L Alignment and Brakes, 1800 S.E. 29th.

Posetelle’s trial is set for October.

Bledsoe will hold a news conference at 1:30 p.m. on the west side of the Oklahoma County Court House.
