Spring concert lineup will keep ears from being bored

Who: Xiu Xiu
When: Tuesday at The Conservatory
Why: As experimental indie rock goes, these guys are some of the best.

Who: Feist
When: April 14 at Cain’s Ballroom, Tulsa
Why: Leslie Feist makes music that is catchy, unique and oh-so-hip.

Who: The Mars Volta
When: April 15 at Cain’s Ballroom, Tulsa
Why: This prog-rock act is apparently amazing live. Plus, it will satisfy that deep, dark secret love you harbor for your dad’s old Jethro Tull and King Crimson albums.

Who: Bon Jovi
When: April 15 at the Ford Center
Why: Your Camaro is going to be there anyway, so what else is there to do? Comb out your mullet, put on your best sleeveless tee and get ready to be rocked.

Who: Kanye West
When: April 29 at the Ford Center
Why: Because if you don’t, Kanye’s ego will hunt you down. He’ll be touring with N.E.R.D, Rihanna and Lupe Fiasco.

Who: Tim McGraw
When: May 30 at the Ford Center
Why: I’m a little bit country (the part that I’m ashamed of), but McGraw’s crooning about being an “Indian Outlaw” is good enough for me. “Jenny Coon Peterson
