Most of the songs are catchy, some so much that they linger in your head for days. One such track, “Let Her Go,” has a chorus of overlapping vocals that’s easily one of the catchiest 15-second segments on the album. The theme of the song, along with several others, is standard subject matter: lost love. Indeed, Prinz himself dubbed the CD a “breakup album.”

Although the tracks that focus on relationships are solid, the record’s real strength comes when Prinz focuses on another predominant theme: overcoming one’s fears, which is heard on songs “Hold On” and “Follow Me.” This is, without question, another clich
