Sing, dance, wiggle and jiggle along with some favorite farm animals at Oklahoma Children’s Theatre’s production of “Old MacDonald Had a Farm.”

The play stages 11 a.m. today and closes 11 a.m. Friday in the Children’s Center for the Arts at Oklahoma City University, 2501 N. Blackwelder. The company’s executive director, Lyn Adams, who wrote and directed the production, said “Old MacDonald” is perfect for a family outing to live theater.

“When the children come in, they sit in paddocks for the different animals and whenever the story has the certain animals do something, the children become the animals,” she said. “The audience becomes a part of the story through interacting in the play.”

Evoking energetic song, dance and sounds, the play is recommended for preschool and elementary students. Tickets are $7 for adults, and $5 for students and children. For more information, call 951-0011 or visit http://www.oklahomachildrenstheatre.org.“LeighAnne Manwarren
