CocoFlow

100 E. Main, Bricktown 524-9500

CocoFlow opened a chocolate studio on its second floor offering classes and parties in Bricktown. It is right above the retail spot. CocoFlow offers artisan chocolate, freshly made pastries and desserts. This is a perfect spot for an after-dinner dessert with coffee or hot tea. There is also a full espresso bar. Ask for the chocolate salty dog, a caramel praline.

East Super Buffet and Sushi

212 S. Air Depot, Midwest City 732-8181

Sushi makes some people’s mouth water. Others get excited for a buffet. What’s better than combining the two? At East Super Buffet and Sushi, there’s something for everyone. The sushi bar is quite popular with its rainbow roll, the dragon roll and the spicy crab. Yes, there is shrimp tempura, too, plus a white Alaskan pollock tempura. Desserts you will discover include a mocha cake, strawberry mousse or a mango mousse.

Sean Cummings’ Irish Restaurant & Pub

7523 N. May 755-2622

Owner Sean Cummings says he is on the lookout for people who would like to join him on a trip to Dublin in 2012 to see Navy and Notre Dame play in Ireland. “There is a huge amount of Notre Dame alumni in the Oklahoma and Tulsa area,” he said. At Vito’s, right next door and owned by his wife, stop by for the chicken spiedini and the mocha pot de crème for a nice finish.

Basil Mediterranean Restaurant

6620 E. Reno, Midwest City 736-0500

Ever
dine at Zorba’s on N. May? This is a sister restaurant that is doing
well. The portions have grown larger, for example, diners will find more
vegetables on the osso buco, and the Euro platter has grown in size.
There is a lunch combo from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. where you can get a
sandwich and fries with a free drink. And here’s a tip: Get the baklava.

The Abner’s Ale House

121 E. Main, Norman 928-5801

The
most requested food on the menu at the bar is the sweet potato fries
along with the fried pickles. People like the blackened chicken sandwich
and follow that with Guinness bonbons, which are chocolate cake with a
chocolate shell done with raspberry liquor. You will like its Reuben
sandwich, for sure.

Sinbad Mediterranean Cuisine & Buffet

5801 Northwest Expressway 773-3663

The
owners of Sinbad have recently added more variety to the buffet. But
don’t fret, the old favorites the customers love are still there. For
example, the beef tenderloin kebab is delightful. The kebabs are
available in both chicken and beef. After dinner, slip over to the
popular hookah lounge, where there are belly dancers Friday and Saturday
evenings.

Coolgreens

14201 N. May 286-9304

In
this ever-changing world of food, there is one thing that stays
constant, and it is fresh ingredients. Coolgreens is paving the way for
others in how they think about and eat food. One of its co-owners is
Chris Lower, who has been instrumental in bringing forth so many of our
finest metro restaurants. In Coolgreens, everything is done in front of
the diner after they point out just what they desire. What could be
better?
