If you show up Monday-Thursday, you’ll get a delicious buffet ($9.95 lunch, $11.95 dinner) of fresh-made Mediterranean fare. Friday evening and all day Saturday you’ll get the super buffet ($12.95), which boasts an almost insurmountable amount of food. Try the falafel, saffron rice and lamb shank. For scrumptious Indian food, try this new spot. Service is attentive and friendly, and the buffet ($8.95 lunch, $9.95 dinner, $10.95 weekends) features vegetarianfriendly dishes like palak paneer and vegetable samosas. Don’t worry, meat-eaters!

You can delight in tandoori chicken, lamb vindaloo and fish curry. Don’t leave without trying Taj’s version of biriyani (veggie, chicken, shrimp or lamb). For dessert, have gulab jamun, a milk-based pastry ball smothered in rosewater and cardamom syrup.

You might not be able to afford this Skirvin Hilton eatery on the regular, so give its lunch buffet a try ($14). It runs during weekdays and changes up routinely depending on the chef’s decision.

It’s not expansive, but the bread basket, few salads, sides and entrées are more than enough to fill up your tummy with delicious and fresh food. Also included is a stand-alone dessert buffet that includes several made-fresh-daily treats prepared by the new pastry chef.

you’re in the market for a go-to Thai house, this place has a pretty
firm offering. Don’t be scared away by the exterior: It’s what’s on the
inside that counts.

With
the owner’s wife and mother doing all the cooking, you always get
fresh, authentic dishes that come spiced just as you order. If you want
to try a variety, opt for the lunch buffet from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. ($7.35
weekdays, $8.75 weekends). Don’t leave without trying a fried rice
plate, one of their green curries and garlic shrimp.

lunch, $5.25-$9.59 dinner) and features baby back ribs, sushi, fresh
mussels and mac ’n’cheese. Living up to its name, opt for the hibachi
buffet and watch the chef prepare your handpicked meal. It’s much more
food than you could ever sample in one sitting, so enjoy fruit and
dessert sushi to finish and plan for a return trip. In a hurry? Fill up
your to-go plate and pay by the pound.

it’s not sprawling, the buffet selection ($9.99) at this
family-friendly eatery is incredibly diverse, that you can count on.
From pho, other noodle bowls, fresh crawfish and soups, to the most
popular Mongolian barbecue dishes — you’re sure to get much more than
you pay for. You can also enjoy Chinese and Vietnamese barbecue. Golden
Palace takes care of its clientele.

if you pay for the buffet ($10.99 weekdays and Sunday, $15.99 4-9 p.m.
Saturday) and only eat the catfish and beignets that are brought to the
table; it’s worth it. If you decide to move on to the actual smorgasbord
of Creole delightfulness, don’t pass up the crawfish étouffée and au
gratin potatoes.

The cornbread is homemade and won’t disappoint. If you’ve room for dessert, try the bread pudding.
