OKG7 off-campus diners

119 W. Boyd, Norman

you’re running around campus in Norman and only have time for a quick
meal, then Padthai should be at the top of your list. It’s a casual Thai
house that consistently serves up tasty food. Try the red curry chicken
or the basil beef. And of course you should try the pad thai. Swing by
for the daily lunch special, too!

Greek House

768 Jenkins, Norman

not a lot that can top a Greek feast. Right near the University of
Oklahoma campus, it’s an ideal location for students on the go or a
quick stop between classes. The Greek plate, which comes with fries, is a
local favorite. Don’t pass up the house-made tzatziki.

Taqueria Durango

3401 S.W. 29th

for exams and need a quick bite, but don’t want fast food? This
southside taqueria has everything you could want. Try one of the stone
bowls with grilled veggies and add in some meat for protein. If you’re
feeling adventurous, try the cactus. And you can get it all to go and
keep hitting those books.

Samurai Sushi & Grill

1630 N.W. 23rd

you’re working toward a bachelor’s or finishing up your law degree, at
some point you’ll need nourishment. Samurai is the perfect stop on the
way to the library for an evening study session or on the way home after
you’ve called it a night. Try The Hulk or Pink Lady rolls. For lunch,
the bento box comes with soup, dumpling, snow crab roll and entree.

Mutts Amazing Hot Dogs

1400 N.W. 23rd

school stress leads to odd cravings. Like a craving for a bacon-wrapped
hot dog with chipotle ketchup, cheese, avocado and pinto beans. If you
don’t want to be seen in the grocery store with all those things in your
cart, just stop into Mutts and order the S’noran Dog. Get a side of
deviled eggs to complete the meal. Feel free to substitute a falafel for
beef to keep it veggie-friendly.

Flatire Burger

318 E. Ayers, Edmond

makes dang good burgers. The capable staff keeps those tables turning,
pleasing a variety of Edmond students and fans at this restaurant
situated right on the edge of the University of Central Oklahoma. Even
if you don’t want a whole meal, stop in and enjoy some table-made

Hideaway Pizza

230 S. Knoblock, Stillwater

is more than just a haven for hippies. At the south end of the Oklahoma
State University campus in Stillwater, the original location is a
popular stop for students and alumni. Chow down on pizza and perfectly
cooked fried mushrooms. The best part is when you’re away from
Stillwater, you can get those perfect pies at several metro locations.
