OKG7 Downtown Restaurant Week stops

Nonna’s Euro-American Ristorante & Bar
1 S. Mickey Mantle
nonnas.com
235-4410

For
lunch, delight in your choice of chicken tortilla soup or tomato and
red onion salad. It will set the stage for entree options: crab cakes,
crispy pork chops with Guinness gravy or blackened chicken. For dinner,
try the chop and chutney or lemon walnut pesto pasta. For dessert,
pralines and cream or berry parfait.

Flint Restaurant
15 N. Robinson
flintokc.com
605-0657

It’s
situated at the bottom of the Colcord and offers valet if you’re dining
in. Start with a traditional Ceasar or salade maison, which includes a
maple cider vinaigrette. Dinner is your choice between pan-roasted trout
or beer-braised short ribs, complete with goat cheese mashed potatoes
and crispy sweet onions.

The Basement Modern Diner
200 S. Oklahoma
bowlredpin.com
702-8880

Dine
on appetizers like fried pickles or onion rings and your dinner choice
between a build-your-own burger or powerhouse pizza with crumbled bacon,
pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers and olives for dinner. It’s a prix
fixe, so you can’t skip Gram T’s Whoopie Pie.

Yucatan Taco Stand
100 E. California
yucatantacostand.com
604-5384

From
spicy Yucatan fish cakes or chile relleno espanole for lunch to Latin
caterpillar roll or an ahi tuna and sweet shrimp ceviche for dinner, the
levels of Latin American flavor at this tasty taco stand run rampant.
For dessert, give yourself a treat and splurge on fried plantains or
empanadas.

Red PrimeSteak
504 N. Broadway
redprimesteak.com
232-2626

Start
with RP’s tomato salad or famous French onion soup, complete with
Gruyère on top. For dinner, enjoy a prime sirloin with your choice of
one of Red’s delicious rubs or sauces. Maybe the salmon mignon is more
your speed? Either way, you must have the warm chocolate spoon cake for
dessert.

Chelino’s
15 E. California
chelinosmexicanrestaurant.com
235-3533

Chelino’s
prix fixe lunch is enough for two! Choose from cheese nachos or salsa
lupe as your starter. Move into the entree section and choose two from
enchilada dinner, taco salad or Burrito Norteño, that latter of which
comes filled with fajita beef, chicken or sausage and grilled onions and
topped with cheese sauce. It’s served with guacamole, sour cream and
rice and beans.

Kaiser’s American Bistro
1039 N. Walker
kaisersbistro.com
232-7632

Robby
Brookshire, Kaiser’s new owner, isn’t wasting any time; he’s jumping in
feet first with participation in Downtown Restaurant Week. Expect lunch
deals on the famous bison burger or turkey club with a side of
delicious sweet potato fries. It’s not part of the prix fixe, but it’s a
good idea to get a hand-scooped sundae.
