Let Coburn Google that for you

Coburn’s proposed bill describes the NTIS as “tasked with collecting and distributing government-funded scientific, technical, engineering, and business-related information and reports.”

Besides being a money pit — the service has cost more than it has made in 10 of the past 11 years — Coburn insists the NTIS doesn’t really do much and most of its collection of reports can be found on the Internet for free. Coburn has designated the bill the “Let Me Google That For You” Act.

Coburn thinks the agency should be disbanded and the Commerce Department can surely pick up any remaining slack, according to TechDirt.com.

Hey, if Coburn can Google it, so can everyone else.
