Tulsa-raised hip-hop musician and producer Anthony Jenkins, formerly known as PDA and now calling himself Jankins, recently released his new music video, "Lose My Mind."

Jankins started out in choir in gradeschool and started producing and recording hip-hop and rap music at age 13, quickly earning local and regional awards for his efforts. He's released five albums and mixtapes as PDA, and was a featured performer at South by Southwest music and industry conference in Austin, and his shows included live instrumentation, rapping and sampling.

He's been featured in Spin, Daily Motion, the Tulsa World, Urban Tulsa WeeklyOklahoma Rock newsblog, Vibe and Oklahoma Magazine. He's also worked with Oklahoma-tied musicians Johnny Polygon, Philippian, Coco Jones, Trauma, Brandon Davis (My Solstice and Bravo Delta) and Kawnar, and has shared bills with Jeffery Star, Millionaires, Akon and Critical Bill, among others.

Jankins' diverse sound and influences are apparent — he's sampled everyone from local Oklahoma City rapper Josh Sallee and Chris Gaines (aka Garth Brooks' short-lived rocker pseudonym) to Tom Waits, Madonna, Diana Ross, Too Short, White Zombie and others.

He now lives in Hollywood.

Jankins' latest 18-track mixtape, This Mixtape, as well as more music from his Jankins incarnation, is available for download here.
