Three people were arrested recently after police found 121 pounds of methamphetamine in a home near SW 40th Street and S. May Avenue.

Felipe De Jesus Sanchez Martinez, Marisol Valdez Nava and Luis Carlos Castaneda Espinoza were arrested in the large-scale bust, according to a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) report, which also said the three were “illegal aliens from Mexico.”

ICE and Homeland Security Investigations (a department of the Department of Homeland Security) created the Green Twister Task Force, which worked with state and local agencies to make the bust.

It started with a traffic stop, which netted the task force over 15 pounds of crystal meth.

It always starts with a traffic stop, doesn’t it? A simple illegal lane change or roll through a stop sign. However, local media reports didn’t specify why the suspects were pulled over.
