He’s No. 5!

Gazette staff February 20th, 2014

Oklahoma’s own, Sen. James Inhofe (R-Tulsa) is the fifth most conservative lawmaker in the nation, according to a recent report from National Journal. Oh, and Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Muskogee) didn’t even break the top 10. Sigh. He hit No. 13.

Other top-of-the-political-pops Okies include Rep. Markwayne Mullin (R-Westville) at No. 33 and Rep. James Lankford (R-OKC) at No. 76.

The Journal decided rankings based on a number of things, including how the men voted and scoring methods that included foreign issues and social and economic reform.

No other Oklahoman cracked the top 100.

For shame.

That means he isn't representing any of the moderates or liberals in the state. He only represents the extreme fringe conservatives. Is that his idea of representing us?
