After jumpin', jivin' and wailin', The Brian Setzer Orchestra turns to the late 18th and early 19th century with "Wolfgang's Big Night Out" to rework classical music into Setzer's swing-revival style .

 

Opening the album, the Beethoven-inspired "Take the 5th" gives the listener an immediate idea of the party atmosphere to come: recognizable melodies sped up to a hot-rod tempo with Setzer's usual brand of Vegas big-band flash.

 

"Swingin' Willie" is the group's version of Rossini's "William Tell Overture" (aka the theme to "The Lone Ranger"), while "For Lisa" is Beethoven's "F
