Commissioned by none other than former FLOTUS Jacqueline Kennedy, Leonard Bernstein’s Mass makes its Oklahoma premiere at 8 p.m. Saturday at Civic Center Music Hall, 201 N. Walker. Based on Chaim Potok’s 1972 novel, My Name Is Asher Lev is the latest production of Carpenter Square Theatre, 800 W. Main. The drama of a Jewish painter forced to make a choice between his art and his faith stages at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, and 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The show ends its run on April 27.
