Tinker Air Force Base Will Host a Portraits of Love

Project Event for Active-Duty Military Families in January

Oklahoma Military Families are Welcome to Take Free Family Portraits with Professional Photographers at Tinker Air Force Base This January

WHAT:       PMDA’s (PhotoImaging Manufacturers and Distributors Association) Fourth Annual Portraits of Love Project comes to Oklahoma City with a special on-base session at Tinker Air Force Base. On Jan. 19, 2013, active-duty military families from the surrounding area are welcome to take part in free, 15 minute photo sessions with Carl Shortt and other professional photographers from the area.

Co-sponsored by some of the biggest names in photography, Portraits of Love enables professional photographers to donate their time and talent in honor of our nation’s military. Following the session, families receive an email link to access their portrait through Shutterfly, along with a code to redeem for prints. One print can also be sent to a loved one serving overseas. Families can take part in Portraits of Love through special on-base sessions, USO facility sessions or private sessions at volunteer photographers’ studios. The sessions occur nationwide until Jan. 31, 2013.
