OC Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble, and Chamber Orchestra will perform this free Winter Concert. The Symphonic Band, conducted by Dr. John Fletcher, remains active throughout the year performing at local venues, annual tours and on campus performances. Under the direction of Dr. Heath Jones, Assistant Director of Bands and past-president of the Oklahoma Chapter of the IAJE, the Jazz Ensemble maintains an active performance schedule throughout the year, and joins with the Symphonic Band on tours. Dr. Kathy Thompson directs the Chamber Orchestra, which performs in Music Department concerts and other community functions. String quartets from the Chamber Orchestra often perform for weddings and receptions.
