FEBRUARY 18:         IN FEATHERED DETAIL: THE ART OF GEORGE MIKSCH SUTTON

The newest exhibit at the ZooZeum, In Feathered Detail: The Art of George Miksch Sutton debuts Monday, February 18. This exhibit showcases the talents of world-renowned ornithologist George Miksch Sutton. George Miksch Sutton was an acclaimed bird artist, author and researcher whose life’s works are still influencing bird enthusiasts today. We invite you to view “In Feathered Detail” during an opening reception on February 18, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the ZooZeum. Enjoy refreshments, a craft activity for children and a visit from one of the Zoo’s feathered friends. This exhibit is made possible with help from the following loaning institutions Oklahoma City Community Foundation, Sam Noble Museum of Natural History, and Western History Collections, University of Oklahoma Libraries.
