How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying
A cast of almost 40 7th – 12th grade students take the stage in a classic tale of power ambition and greed in The Sooner Theatre’s Republic Bank & Trust Studio Series production of How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, March 1-3, 2013.
A satire of big business and all it holds sacred, How To Succeed… follows the rise of J. Pierrepont Finch, who uses a little handbook called "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying" to climb the corporate ladder from lowly window washer to high-powered executive, tackling such familiar but potent dangers as the aggressively compliant "company man," the office party, backstabbing co-workers, caffeine addiction and, of course, true love.
Winner of the 1962 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, How To Succeed… melds wit, comedy, and romance together to perfection.
“I am excited to be back at The Sooner Theatre and to be able to work with such amazingly talented young performers,” said Brandon Adams, Associate Artistic Director and director of the show. “They have been working really hard, and it’s a really funny, high-energy show that I think will resonate with audiences of all ages.”
Tickets for each performance are $10. Tickets can be purchased online at www.soonertheatre.com any time day or night, or by phone at (405) 321-9600 or at the Sooner Theatre box office, Tuesday – Friday, 10 a.m. – noon and 2-5 p.m.
