Students from the Healing Studio at the Norman
Firehouse Arts Center will exhibit their artwork in the Firehouse Gallery March
8th through March 24, 2013. Firehouse patrons are invited to meet
the students and instructors at the opening reception from 6:00 p.m to 9:00
p.m. on Friday, March 8th during the monthly 2nd Friday

Designed
to enhance lifestyles and promote well being, the Healing Studio is an inviting
and supportive environment for individuals with varying degrees of cognitive,
physical and artistic abilities to be challenged, educated and celebrated
through visual arts learning that promotes creativity and self-expression.
The exhibition is an excellent opportunity for the students to display their
work to the public and provide the community with insight into the Healing
Studio program.
The Healing Studio Program is sponsored by the
Norman Arts Council, the Oklahoma Arts Council and generous individual
donations.
