Weekend Keeper Connections
MARCH 16: WEEKEND KEEPER CONNECTIONS
Talk to the rock stars of the Zoo world, the keepers! Keeper Connections are a great way to learn about your favorite animals from the people who care for them. Connect with wildlife while hearing and seeing how the Zoo strives to conserve and preserve our natural resources, and what you can do to help, too. Our weekend Keeper Connections begin March 16, and continue through October 27, weather permitting. The complete schedule is as follows:
Saturdays
· 11 a.m. Koi Pond @ the Children’s Zoo
· 11 a.m. Red River Hogs
· 11 a.m. Birds/Parrots @ Great EscApe’s Observation Tower
· 11:30 a.m. Elephant Presentation @ the Elephant Pavilion (March-June)
· 11:30 a.m. Black Rhino (July-October)
· 1:15 p.m. Elephant Presentation @ the Elephant Pavilion
· 1:30 p.m. Birds of Prey (across from the picnic pavilions)
· 1:30 p.m. Great Apes (rotating conservation chats)
· 2 p.m. Upper Aquarium (Noble Aquatic Center)
· 2:30 p.m. River Otters @ Big Rivers, Oklahoma Trails
· 3 p.m. Tigers
· 4 p.m. Alligators @ Oklahoma Trails
· 4 p.m. Indian Rhino
Sundays
· 10:30 a.m. Cheetah (exciting lure run!)
· 10:30 a.m. Galapagos Tortoise @ Island Life
· 11 a.m. Red Pandas
· 11 a.m. Birds/Parrots @ Great EscApe’s Observation Tower
