Rose State Health Fair
Rose State College Wellness Center will partner with Midwest Regional Medical Center to host a 2013 Community Health Fair. The health fair is scheduled for Wednesday, April 10th, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Rose State College Student Center in Midwest City. Each year, the event offers free health screenings and health information for adults.
Free screenings available to participants include blood pressure checks, posture analysis, diabetes foot screenings, pulmonary function testing, and sleep apnea screenings. A glucose and lipid profile (measuring Triglycerides, Cholesterol, HDL, LDL) will also be available at no charge from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (fasting after midnight is required; test results mailed in 2-4 weeks).
This year the event will also feature a lunch hour “Meet the Docs” session from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet primary care and specialty physicians from Midwest Regional.
