Charity Golf Scramble
OSU-Oklahoma City and local restaurant Emerson Biggin’s will host a charity golf scramble Friday, April 26 in support of OSU-OKC’s American Heart Association Campaign. The scramble will have a staggered shotgun start at 7:15 a.m. at OSU-OKC’s five-hole golf course located at 400 N. Portland Ave.
“The goal of the event is to promote health and wellness throughout our community,” says J. Trent Horstkoetter, 2013 OSU-OKC Heart Walk Coordinator. “Not only will we be raising money and awareness for the American Heart Association, we will also be promoting our five-hole golf course.”
Prizes will be awarded to golf scramble winners as well as winners of the closest to the pin challenge, longest drive and putting tournament. Emerson Biggin’s will provide lunch for all golf scramble attendees.
“Emerson Biggin’s is very pleased to partner with OSU-OKC to not only raise awareness for the American Heart Association but also to strive to inform others on the importance for this cause,” says Brad Case, Emerson Biggin’s General Manager.
