Rory Morgan's 2013 Summer Landscapes
July 1st to July 30th


 


Rory paints beautiful, detailed acrylic landscapes. His youth spent in Oregon, Wyoming and Oklahoma,
he has transferred his love for the outdoors into his art. When viewing his artwork the observers are sure they
have walk those paths, smelt those blossoms. and seen those woods. 

Rory Morgan has been accepted into some of the most prominent western fine art festivals such as Festival
of the Arts, Oklahoma City where he was the celebrated artist for 2009; Art in the Park, Parker, Co.;
Cottonwood Art Festival, Richardson, TX; and Castle Rock Art Fest, Castle Rock, CO.



Rory's Best of Show awards include: Great Plains Indoor Art Show, Enid, OK - 2002; Nescatunga Art Festival,
Alva, OK - 2003; and Festival in the Park, Cushing, OK - 2004, 2006, 2009; and Clinton, OK - 2011. Other 
awards include: Artist's Choice Award, Festival in the Park, Cushing, OK - 2007, 2009; First Place awards - 
Nescatunga Art Festival, Alva, OK - 2003, 2004, 2007, 2009, 2010; Lachenmeyer Art Festival, Cushing, OK
- 2003, 2010.

His painting, "Cimarron River" was on the cover of Corrider Magazine 9/2010.



Public receptions will be held in conjunction with Paseo Art District's "First
Friday" event (6:00 - 10:00 July 5th) and on "Sunday, July 21st (1:00 - 4:00)

Rory will be present at the gallery and demo on the July 21st.

The Summer Wine Art Gallery is owned by Jim and Linda Hiller.

The Gallery Location: On the south end of the Paseo - one of the Paseo Creek Galleries (see map below).
