UCO Senior Toast
The UCO Alumni Association will host its first-ever Senior Toast for all graduating seniors from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 4 on the back patio of the UCO Alumni House, located at 320 East Hurd Street in Edmond. The deadline to register is 5 p.m. Friday, May 2.
All graduating seniors are encouraged to attend, however the first 200 registrants will receive an etched, vintage-style champagne glass. Attendees will then toast using sparkling grape juice.
The Senior Toast replaces the association’s weeklong receptions hosted during the university’s December and May graduations.
UCO President Don Betz, UCO Alumni Association Director Lora Malone and Student Alumni Association President Stephen Smith will speak briefly at the event.
“Graduation is such a special time for all of us. I can still remember the look on my mother’s face when I crossed the UCO stage for my own graduation,” said Malone.
“That is why we wanted to both honor and celebrate these students’ efforts with one final congratulatory toast with both the president and their peers.”
Attendees will also have the opportunity to join the Alumni Association at a special rate of $15.
The UCO Alumni Association fosters relationships among alumni and friends while advocating for the benefit of the university, supporting students and helping to create “Bronchos for Life.”
