 fishing experts and educators from the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife 
and Conservation and Oklahoma City Parks &amp; Recreation Department
 will be on hand to teach anglers the latest in trout fishing tips and 
techniques, as well as fish identification and sportsmanship. 
Participants will also have the chance to try out a variety of hands-on 
activities, including knot tying, casting and trout
 cleaning.</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">The
 trout fishing clinic is hosted as part of the City’s annual rainbow 
trout season, which runs through February 28 at Dolese Youth Park Pond.
 Unless otherwise exempt, all anglers between the ages of 16 and 62 must
 have a City fishing permit and state fishing license to fish on any 
City water. No permits are required for anglers under the age of 16 or 
age 62 and older.

<p>All anglers must follow all City and State fishing regulations and ordinances, including those specific to trout season:</p>

A daily catch limit of six trout per person per day.</p>

Anglers may only use one rod and reel, or pole, to catch trout.</p>

Fish caught and placed on a stringer or in a bucket cannot be released back into the water.</p>

Boat fishing is not allowed at Dolese Park Pond.<br>

 annual trout season, sponsored by BancFirst, is part of the “Close to 
Home” fishing program, a cooperative fisheries management program
 between the City of Oklahoma City and Oklahoma Department of Wildlife 
Conservation.
