The Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) has scheduled two detention=0D=0A=
officer recruiting events at Quail Springs Mall for February 9th and=0D=0A=
February 16th, 2013. Our=0D=0A=
sub-station is located by the northeast mall entrance next to the now closed=0D=0A=
Sears. The events will start at 10:00am and=0D=0A=
end at 4:00pm.
=0D=0A= =0D=0A=
During these recruiting days we will have OCSO=0D=0A=
employees to answer questions, and attendees can fill out all the proper=0D=0A=
paperwork to apply for positions. We ask=0D=0A=
that anyone who attends the event to bring a driver’s license, copy of birth=0D=0A=
certificate, and proof of graduation (GED, high school transcript, college=0D=0A=
transcript).

The OCSO is currently looking to fill several=0D=0A=
detention officer academies, an academy lasts 6 weeks. Starting salary for detention officers is=0D=0A=
$2,212.00 per month; we offer a full health/dental package, and 401k=0D=0A=
retirement. Applicants must pass a=0D=0A=
criminal background check, drug test, physical fitness evaluation, and=0D=0A=
psychological exam.
