The permanent collection at the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural
History, 2401 Chautauqua in Norman, has been raided to create the
largest ever public showing of 100 objects dating back more than 2,000
years.
For pure automobile action, it’s ‘Gone,’ baby, ‘Gone.’

Compared to its 2000 big-budget remake, H.B. Halicki's Gone in 60 Seconds
is deficient in slickness, star power, performances, plotting and
humor. Yet the 1974 indie original decimates the Hollywood version as an
all-around entertainment. Why? Two simple reasons, boiled down to
numbers: some 500 vehicles wrecked and a 40-minute chase scene.

Like The Punisher,
Judge Dredd serves as judge, jury and executioner, all rolled into one.
Like The Punisher, Judge Dredd also received a cinematic reboot in an
attempt to right precious filmmakers’ wrongs.

My favorite of Christopher Guest's mockumentaries is easily 2000’s Best in Show. While I think it helps to be a theater nerd to appreciate 1996’s Waiting for Guffman in full or a folk nut to opt for 2003’s A Mighty Wind, “must love dogs” is no requirement here. Love man’s best friend or hate him, the humor in Best in Show is less inside-baseball than its brothers.
