“Nite Tales: The Series” collection on DVD — a trouncing it absolutely
deserves — so I approached his feature “Chain Letter” with extreme
caution.

When Image Entertainment splashes its “UNRATED” label across its covers —
as it has of late with “Chain Letter,” “Harpoon: Whale Watching
Massacre” and now “The Inheritance” — you can at least be guaranteed
that the films will make good on that promise, even if they fall short
in other areas.
