meteorologists. The May 29 hail that attacked the metro is a prime
example. As chunks of ice rained down, the weather guys took to the
airwaves to describe just how big the hail was.

In terms of job security, TV news director ranks somewhere between
major-league baseball manager and suicide bomber. KFOR Channel 4 and
news director Mary Ann Eckstein have parted ways after her being with
the station for 33 years. Reasons for Eckstein’s departure remain murky,
but sources say there were long-simmering tensions between her and KFOR
General Manager Wes Milbourn.
A treasure trove of Oklahoma TV news footage is donated to the Oklahoma Historical Society

Today, the Oklahoma Historical Society accepted a donation from Griffin
Communications containing a treasure trove of television news footage:
all archives documenting the nearly 50 years of significant news
coverage by the company, which owns Oklahoma City’s KWTV Channel 9 and
Tulsa’s KOTV Channel 6.

Moore woman, Pam Chandler, was reunited with her dog, a black dachshund
named Abby.
