Regarding the Feb. 2 Oklahoma Gazette Commentary “Mayor McModern” by Keith Gaddie: I wish Mayor Mick Cornett the best of luck in attempting to modernize a city that has Christian extremist/ fundamentalists ringed around its throat.

The Legislature is getting close to the halfway point, and before you know it, lawmakers will be adjourning for the year. Have they fulfilled promises, or are they just playing the political version of the four-corners offense?
