It's both a blessing and a shame that Zoom In: Sex Apartments carries such an exploitative title: a blessing because it may trick some horny guys into watching a better movie than they'd expect, and a shame because, well, Sex Apartments. (Hey, it could be worse: The original subtitle was Rape Apartments.)

With construction on Level near completion, Richard McKown, the project’s developer, is finding that with 125 residents moved in and more on the way, N.E. Eighteen years ago, Midtown was nothing more than a “neglected backwater” replete with halfway houses and abandoned buildings. Faced with blighted conditions years before the April 19, 1995, disaster, Midtown was instead a ghost town created by the 1980s’ devastating oil bust and ensuing disinvestment.
