If the area around Oklahoma State Fairgrounds’ Expo Hall at 3212 Wichita Walk smells of kitty litter this weekend, there’s a good reason. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, the Oklahoma City-based cat club Thunderkatz presents its 16th annual Championship All-Breed and Household Pet Cat Show in seven rings running simultaneously. If you were around OKC in the 90s, you know how much progress we’ve made because of the Metropolitan Area Projects, better known as MAPS. Local artists created works exploring the project’s impact as part of the MAPS 20th Anniversary Artist Projects exhibition, and an opening reception will be held 6 p.m.-9 p.m. Friday at Individual Artists of Oklahoma, 706 W. Sheridan Ave. The exhibit runs through March 15. Call 232-6060, or visit oklahoma.uli.org.
