Can’t make the trip to Pryor for Rocklahoma this weekend? Bang your head in the air-conditioned comfort of your own home, as HDNet brings the metal to you.

Seven hours of live coverage from the sixth annual music festival will be beamed starting at 4 p.m. Sunday. That means HDNet viewers can catch performances by Rains, Blackstone Cherry, Charm City Devils, Puddle of Mudd, Jackyl, Art of Dying, Queensrÿche, Hellyeah and Chickenfoot. Oklahoma City’s own Aranda pictured also is part of that lineup.

Perhaps best known for being the bad guy of the early '90s blockbusters Patriot Games and Sleeping with the Enemy, Patrick Bergin must be the king of literary adaptation also-rans. He played Robin Hood in 1991 film that was denied a theatrical release because Kevin Costner's Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves sewed that all up. He's played Dracula … but in a made-for-TV movie, not a Francis Ford Coppola spectacle.

It found a unlikely offering in Dollar for the Dead, a 1988, made-for-cable effort starring Emilio Estevez. You could look at it like a Young Guns spin-off if you wish.

Femme Fatales is unlike any previous ~~Skinemax~~ Cinemax adult series in that the nudity, while plentiful, isn’t the reason for its being and, therefore, isn’t dreadfully boring like those others — yes, you, Emmanuelle in Space. If you harbor an equal love for pulp fiction and dangerous curves, the 13 episodes that make up the premiere season’s three-disc set should provide plenty of no-brain, all-bod entertainment.

Don’t feel stupid: I didn’t know who Ralph Zavadil was, either. After all, we can’t be faulted for living in Oklahoma City instead of Ontario, Canada. Ultimately, it makes no difference, because Beauty Day, the documentary about the man, is a fun viewing nonetheless. That’s because there’s something about watching stunts of bodily harm that holds universal appeal.
