I have several comments regarding Kurt Hochenauer’s Feb. 9 Gazette Commentary “Counterpoint: Separation anxiety.” Hochenauer worries that discussing religious ideas could “dumb down” our students. As dumbed-down as our public schools already are, it’s hard to believe that discussing anything could dumb them down any further.

Things could not be going much better for the Thunder organization. It has two of the brightest stars in the league, just acquired the big man it has coveted for years, and is lauded as a potential dynasty. Most importantly, the market is absolutely in love with the franchise.
