Mainsite Contemporary Art’s current exhibition, Entre Huellas y Arenas, translates to Hoofprints in the Sand. That detail, however, is not as important as that time is running out to view its 37 photographs exploring Peruvian horse culture. The gallery at 122 E. Main will host a closing reception from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, but the works remain on display through March 16. Admission is free. Call 360-1162 or visit mainsite-art.com.

For acclaimed experimental punk group No Age, music isn’t just an auditory experience; it’s visual, too. So what better venue for the LA-based duo to play as they pass through Oklahoma than an art gallery? Listening (and viewing) commences at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mainsite Contemporary Art, 122 E. Main St. in Norman. Tickets are $10-$12. Call 360-1162 or visit mainsite-art.com.

Music and visual arts don’t have to be exclusive to one another. In fact, they’re probably more related than you think. Noise Makers, a group exhibition exploring the relationship between the two mediums, opens 6 p.m. Friday at Mainsite Contemporary Art, 122 E. Main St. in Norman, and will run through Jan. 11. Admission is free. Call 360-1162 or visit mainsite-art.com.
