Celebrate nine cultures at Asia Society of Oklahoma’s 26th annual Asian Festival, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Sheraton Oklahoma City Hotel, 1 N. Broadway. The Miss Asia, Junior Miss Asia and Little Miss Asia pageants will take place while attendees enjoy food from Grand House China Bistro, entertainment and arts and crafts. Admission is free. One of the most enjoyable family films of the moment is actually 11 years old: Miss Minoes, a Dutch fantasy based on a children's book. I haven't read it, but from the looks of it, I'm betting the movie retains much of its whimsy.
