Yesterday, Portland psych-rock bros Portugal. The Man announced a long list of dates for a spring tour of the U.S. that
didn’t include an April 28 stop in Oklahoma for the fifth installment of Norman Music Festival.
But today, the tour dates, sponsored by NMF sponsor Jägermeister, are listed in full on
the band’s website and include the Saturday stop for NMF.
While it’s not yet conclusive whether or not Portugal. The Man will serve as the headliner of this year’s event, it seems highly likely, as the 28th will be the last of the three-day festival, and the group falls pretty squarely into the same level of notoriety as previous headliners The Walkmen, Dirty Projectors and Of Montreal.
OKSee has reached out to an NMF spokesperson, and will keep you updated as this noble fact-finding mission progresses.
