Retro rebound

Throwback style is back, and this time, it resembles the old-school, handcrafted fare of bygone centuries.

Marisa Mohi
Quality and tradition are driving factors behind the success of many local businesses, whether they specialize in antiques, personal care or even beer. Shops like Bradford Ink Antiques, Carwin’s Shave Shop and The Brew Shop not only provide products and services that can’t be found just anywhere; they also offer customers an escape from the monotony of their average experience.

Return to Nuke 'Em High

Radiates bad taste.

Rod Lott
At once a reboot of and a sequel to 1986's Class of Nuke 'Em High, the comedy Return to Nuke 'Em High: Volume 1 presents a premise as thin as a used Kleenex — radioactive tacos mutate high schoolers — in order for the Troma label to unleash its distinctive brand of rapid-fire, unrestrained lunacy designed to upset everyone. It's something else, all right — I'm just unsure what that “else” is.
