Lincoln Blvd. Expect rowing, kayaking, dragon boating, stand-up paddle boarding, live music, a children’s area, a wine garden, a zip line ... and oh, yeah: night racing with fireworks! Film preservation

The revival of The Paramount OKC theater has the historic Film Row district beaming once again.

When Oklahoma became a state back in 1907, the film industry moved into the area now known as the Film Exchange District, or Film Row. In those days of early cinema, studios set up screening houses across the country for theater owners to preview movies and decide which ones they would carry.

Indoor Urban Park, an immersive interactive playground designed by local artists, will be unveiled at the monthly public block party Premiere on Film Row. Premiere also features live bands and a radio broadcast, film screenings, food trucks and more, and it all happens 6-9 p.m. Friday inside IAO Gallery, 706 W. Sheridan Ave. Admission is free.
