Letters to the Editor

Joel Hendrickson

Orchid it

OKG7 things to do

Orchids aren’t your average plants — they’re basically the Fabio of gardening: muscular, luxuriant and a flowing head of hair. (Just kidding about the last one.) See for yourself at the First Annual Orchid Show starting Friday and open through March 29 at the Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory inside Myriad Botanical Gardens, 301 W. Reno Ave. Admission is $4-$7. Call 445-7080 or visit
