Come 7:30 p.m. Monday, world-renowned German pianist Alexander Schimpf adds Armstrong Auditorium, 14400 S. Bryant in Edmond, to his ever-growing list of venues played. Schimpf has taken top honors at several prestigious competitions ’round the globe, and he’s only 29! (OKG7, by comparison, recently plowed through several episodes of American Horror Story stacked up on the TiVo.) Tickets are $20- $35. Call 285-1010 or visit armstrongauditorium.org.

If you prefer storms on canvas rather than hovering over your roof, head to the inaugural and international National Weather Center Biennale, opening Monday at the National Weather Center, 120 David L.
