St. Patrick’s Day isn’t until Sunday, but Saturday is when Bricktown celebrates it with a 22nd annual block party! From noon to midnight at Sheridan and Oklahoma avenues, enjoy continuous live music from the likes of Laura Leighe pictured and Super Freak. This isn’t your average day at the races. Camels, ostriches and zebras will invade Sunday at Remington Park, 1 Remington Place, for the fourth annual Extreme Racing event, starting at 1:30 p.m. In addition, the day features a 21-inch miniature horse and pig races on the plaza — oh, and normal-size horsies, too, for your betting pleasure. Although Earth Day officially has passed, that’s not stopping Oklahoma State University–Oklahoma City from going green with its fourth annual Earth Day Fair, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the 900 N.
