It’s like a Redbox for books, and as of last month, Norman is the first city in the country to make 24-hour, automated libraries available to the public. Two are now open.
You like to read, right? (Of course you do; you’re reading right now. Duh!) Then join your friends at the Friends of the Metropolitan Library System’s annual book sale, where you can peruse hundreds of thousands of books, magazines and more, many for $1 or less. The sale is open to the general public 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the Oklahoma Expo Hall on the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds, 3001 General Pershing Blvd. Call 606-3763 or visit metrolibrary.org.
