Straight outta high school

Local rapper Kulprit D comes of age in the hip-hop game with his latest project.

Music

Louis Fowler
How did Eazy-E get his nickname? What about Dr. Dre or Ice Cube or any other master MC with a moniker? Chances are few of them got it as part of a misunderstanding at high school.

T.I. — Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head

Hip Hop/Rap

Ryan Querbach
Atlanta rapper T.I. has released Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head, his eighth studio album and the first since his most recent stint in prison. The title is no doubt a reference to his legal troubles on federal weapons charges, but it also makes reference to the Marvin Gaye song of the same name, which is sampled in the album’s opening track.
