Oklahoma’s sex offender registry is about to get a lot shorter due to a
state Supreme Court ruling that prohibits the Department of Corrections
from retroactively applying sex offender laws.

On Oct. 30, Nathaniel Zeke Campfield, a former reporter for The Oklahoman, pleaded
no contest to a disorderly conduct charge after being accused of
“disrupting the public order of the community by repeatedly bumping into
multiple women on purpose” at the May 25 Moore High School graduation
ceremony held at Cox Convention Center.
