One of the city’s favorite purveyors of fine smoked meats serves up barbecue for art lovers.
“I try to make sure I get a good bite to eat,” she said. “I like jewelry a lot. If I see someone selling handmade jewelry, I’m definitely going to go there.”
“They melt in your mouth,” Pelter said. “We say they’re life-changing doughnuts. I can’t even eat other doughnuts anymore.”

“The first year, we had volunteers making sandwiches for people,” she said. “Now we have 30 food vendors.”
The Youth Art Sale is a juried show for students ages 8-18 at the annual Festival of the Arts.
